As a physical venue Tin Camp Studios are currently delivered in 2 forms, mobile/pop up & permanent.

POP UP & PERMANENT VENUES

10m x 14m, off grid-capable mobile version.
Created and designed in collaboration with Core Collective Architects and Contemporary Art Tasmania, it's a portable bespoke turnkey venue hosted by Warren, that fits and unpacks in entirety from a shipping container. Its creation was supported by the RISE Fund and Live Music Australia and has been touring since early 2022. It's a spectacular, beautifully designed and impactful safe space.

‘Pop Up’ Venues

6m x 8m mobile version.
Designed in collaboration with Core Collective Architects, with funding support from Arts Tasmania, this more agile mobile edition, packs on a trailer and can be towed and erected on-site at smaller festivals and events across regional Australia. Again hosted by Warren, this version is ideal for independent, community led and more remote and responsive gatherings of culture, community, healing and celebration.  This version will be built in early 2024.  It will make it’s first appearance at Baiame’s Ngunnhu Festival in Brewarinna in April and is available for booking from May 2024.

Made for purpose builds.
These are designed and built for specific spaces and places.  These have ranged from temporary retrofitting of existing public infrastructure to semi-permanent installations at a variety of venues, including museums, galleries and schools - where the project has been able to work in conjunction with the construction, english and arts curriculums.

Permanent Venues

These are built on-site showcasing traditional building practices, often via community and capacity building workshops.

Permanent builds are uniquely negotiated with individual Festivals and Land Holders. They are a focus point for ongoing relationships between people, place, voice, story and song.
